Cyber World Institute
I grew up a military brat, living all around the world. After graduating high school, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2005. After graduating from boot camp at Parris Island, SC, I went to communications school in 29 Palms, CA. At school, I was trained to be a Data Network Specialist. Basically, anything that touched a computer or looked like it touched a computer, I fixed it, both hardware and software. This entailed anything from a workstation to servers and routers. In 2010 I was selected to become a Marine Corps recruiter and was stationed in Wyoming for 3 years. After my tour on recruiting duty I went back to the fleet Marine Corps and became a Cyber Network Systems Chief. I am certified in CompTIA Security+. I’ve taken CCNA (not certified), Sharepoint, countless Microsoft courses, and the list continues. I’m currently completing my degree in business. With all that being said, I have a vast background and quite a bit of knowledge of just about everything. I’m the Veteran Liaison here at Cyber World Institute. I am active in the community with the VA and am a disabled veteran, so I can help veterans and their family members utilize the benefits they may be able to receive.
Mentor Hours will be on anything in regards to Cyber Security, Cyber World Institute courses and/or Veteran Benefits.
